Volver a Comenzar [30 Jun 2009|12:57am] [ mood | lazy ] I haven't written on here in so long! But I remember I used to like it very much. I think it's time I start again, some couple years later. Today me and Ipek decided to spend as little money on public trans as possible, so walked from UIC to Logan Square--about 2 miles(but it seems a lot longer on the L). On the way we discovered BomBon cafe, which is a cute little place that sells tamales, tortas (Mexican-style sandwiches), tostadas, and a bunch of breads, rolls, and pastries. I got a sugar bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. Soon after we came across the actual Wicker Park. It was exciting to finally see it. After a couple more hours of wandering, admiring homes we can't afford and looking at cats, we decided to eat again. For lunch, we went to Las Ascadas in Logan Square. There, we ate two of the best burritos either of us had ever had. With full tummies and sore feet, we decided the $2.25 was worth it for a ride home. [08 Mar 2006|07:53pm] i cleaned my room realllly good today cuz i had nothing else to do except watch the project runway marathon. i found a ton of old stuff i forgot about including an old 8th grade graduation card... "hey jessi congrajulaitionse(sp) on your graduation. next up is high school. some tips: 1. reading is the only way to escape 2. life is life and sooner or later it ends. enjoy every moment. be what you want not what people want you to be or life will pass you by without even knowing 3. life moves pretty fast if you don;t stope once in a while you could miss it -dayv" i miss that guy 2 comments|post comment
